Take your pasture back. Cedar and mesquite spread fast once they get a foothold, crowd out grass, and pull water out of the ground. The longer they go, the more expensive they are to deal with.
What we remove
- Cedar (Ashe juniper and eastern red cedar)
- Mesquite thickets
- Greenbriar, yaupon, and dense undergrowth
- Hackberry, bois d'arc, and volunteer trees along fences and creeks
- Poison ivy and vine-choked areas
How we do it
Most brush work is done with our forestry mulcher, which grinds everything in place. Larger trees and stumps get handled with the excavator. We leave the trees you want to keep.
Keeping it from coming back
Mulching kills cedar outright, since cedar does not resprout from the stump. Mesquite and some other species can resprout from the root, so plan on follow-up treatment or mowing on those areas. We will tell you up front what to expect on your property.
