Clear the brush and leave the ground in one pass. Forestry mulching grinds standing brush and small trees into mulch right where they stand. No burn piles, no hauling off, and far less torn-up ground than pushing everything with a dozer.
What it is good for
- Cedar and mesquite that has taken over pasture
- Overgrown acreage you want to use or sell
- Opening up wooded lots while keeping the trees you want
- Trails, sight lines, and hunting lanes
- Fence lines and property borders
Our setup
We run a drum mulcher on a high-flow New Holland C337 compact track loader with a full brush guard and a protected cab. Tracks spread the machine's weight, so it can work ground where wheeled equipment would rut.
What you are left with
A layer of mulch over the cleared area. It holds soil in place, keeps moisture in the ground, and breaks down over time. Grass usually comes back through it. Stumps are ground down to around grade on most material. If you need the ground completely cleaned and stump-free for building, see lot and land clearing.
Selective or total clearing
Tell us what stays. We work around the oaks and shade trees you want to keep and take out the cedar, mesquite, and undergrowth around them.

Photos and a rough acreage are usually enough for us to price a mulching job. Pricing depends on how thick the brush is, the size of the trees, and the terrain.
